I stayed at Manoir De La Baronnie for one night before catching an early morning ferry to Jersey. The room was pleasant and the bed was comfortable. The facilities were as stated on the website, and I enjoyed learning about the history of the house and Richard Surcouf. The family 'tree' was also a fun and interesting touch. The hotel had a unique and quirky charm with lots of antique furnishings and a rich history. The owner was very nice and helpful, and the breakfast included in our room rate was a great value. It was a pleasant change from the usual corporate hotels, and we especially enjoyed the pool and hot tub.
I would be happy to recommend this hotel.

The owners really went all out with Lion King decor in the staircase. The rural setting was great for my "ressourcement". Breakfast buffet had regional treats, and a private spa? Fancy. And who wouldn't enjoy relaxing on garden chairs?
Well, at least the lion staircase distracted me from the wind and looks on the terrace!

The room we stayed in was lovely, with a beautiful view of the gardens. the furnishings were comfortable and relaxing, creating a cozy atmosphere. the breakfast served in the charming dining room with a roaring fire was a great way to start the day. the location of the hotel was perfect, just outside the bustling city center but still easily accessible.
There were a few things that could be improved. the cleanliness of the room was not up to par, with cobwebs and dirt under the wardrobe.

We stayed at a lovely bed & breakfast called Manoir De La Baronnie. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with chic bathroom amenities and a kettle for tea and coffee. We particularly enjoyed the delicious breakfast served in a cozy room with a roaring fire, while watching the snowfall outside. the owners of the property were incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a warm and traditional atmosphere. The gardens surrounding the manor were beautiful, and the location was perfect for those seeking a peaceful retreat just outside the bustling city of St Malo. Cons: Nothing bad to say. 😊.

Charming building with a grand entrance and large grounds. The attic room named "Belnaire" has a nautical theme and a decent size. The wifi signal and throughput in the room were reasonable.
